What is kept
Every search leaves a record, whichever way it comes in: today, through the emporium_search_service tool, at /mcp and at /counter/mcp, through GET /api/directory and through the /directory page. The record is kept even when the search found nothing and when the list of services was not available.
The text you wrote is kept exactly as you wrote it, as plain text: nothing is masked or summarized.
A request that is not valid, for example one with a text shorter than 2 characters, leaves no record.
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
busqueda_id | A random identifier for this record. |
ts | The date and time of the search. |
entrada | Where the search came in: mcp (the tool), api (GET /api/directory) or pagina (the /directory page). |
idioma | The language of the answer: es or en. |
consulta | What you asked for, exactly as it arrived: the text you wrote, as plain text, and any filters you set (category, network, city, how many results, language, whether you wanted it lighter). |
texto_normalizado | That same text in lowercase, without accents or punctuation, the way the search compares it. |
intent_id | A code derived from that text: the same text always gives the same code. |
motor | The version of the search and of its rules, how long ago the list of services it used had been updated, and how many entries of that list could not be read. |
candidatos | The businesses, the providers' services and the endpoints that were returned (the candidates), in order: for each one, its identifier, where it comes from, its score with its breakdown and what it was missing. The house tools and the legs of a request added separately are not stored. |
hueco | If the search found nothing, the note of what the guide was missing. |
resultado | How it ended: with an answer, without the list of services, or with an error. |
ms | How long the answer took to put together, in milliseconds, not counting Jev's opinion. |
flujo_id | Always empty today. |
jev | Only if the search had results: Jev's opinion on them, marked as its own, or why there was none. |
What is not kept
The record does not keep your IP address, nor the headers of your request (nor any credential your agent sends), nor the raw request as it arrived.
Your IP address is used only for two quotas: the one shared by GET /api/directory and the /directory page, and the one of quote requests over HTTP. They are counters kept apart from the record, which count how many requests come from the same address per hour, do not know what you searched for or asked for, and expire on their own.
Where it is kept and who reads it
In a private Emporium store: a table on AWS, in the us-east-1 region. The service can only add records; it cannot read them, and no Emporium page or tool shows them. Only the operator of Emporium, Ultravioleta DAO LLC, reads them, outside the service and with its own credentials.
It is not sold. Apart from what is sent to Jev through OpenRouter (below), it is not shared with anyone.
For how long
With no time limit: the search records have no deletion date.
What for
To improve the search and to see which services are missing from the guide.
Who your search is sent to
When a search has results, Emporium may ask Jev, a language model reached through OpenRouter, for its opinion on them: what is sent is received by OpenRouter and by whoever serves that model, each under its own terms. Before sending your search, Emporium masks what it recognizes as an email, a web address with a user name or password before the @, or a run of 7 or more digits even with spaces, dots, dashes or parentheses in between (such as a phone number). The masking is automatic and may not recognize everything: the rest goes out exactly as you wrote it. Along with it go the results you were given (their identifier and their public text, masked the same way); never your IP address or the headers of your request. Its opinion does not change the answer, and Emporium keeps it only in the record.
What is shown in public
The public page /flow shows only that a search happened and how many results it gave; if it gave none, at most one of the guide's 16 categories. It never shows the text you wrote or your IP address.
When you ask for a quote
If you ask a business on Emporium for a quote, whichever way it comes in (for example, through the quote tool of that business's MCP, at /n/{slug}/mcp, or through POST /api/businesses/{slug}/quotes), Emporium keeps your contact, your name if you gave it, and your request, so the business can answer you. They are kept exactly as you wrote them.
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
contacto | How to reach you: the email or phone number you gave. Required. |
nombre | Your name, if you gave it. It is not sent to the business. |
descripcion | What you asked for, in your own words. Required. |
cantidad | How many, if you said so. |
fecha_deseada | When you want it, if you said so. |
notas | Your notes, if you added any. |
datos | The data the offer asks for to quote, exactly as you sent it, if the offer asks for any. |
The business receives your request, its quantity, the desired date, your notes, the data the offer asks for if you sent it, and your contact at the email address it confirmed when it registered, with a single-use link to answer. That email goes out through Amazon SES, the AWS email service. Your name is not in that email or on the page behind the link. Emporium does not charge, does not set the price and does not send your request to anyone else.
No public Emporium page, list or tool shows your contact, your name or your request. The only exception is the single-use link page, which only the business sees: it shows the business your request and your contact, never your name. The list of a business's quotes and the lookup with the tracking key give the status, the offer, the dates, the business's answer and whether someone from the house asked for it, with none of your data. The business's log keeps only the quote's identifier, the offer's, and whether someone from the house asked for it. For the hourly quota of quotes per person, a fingerprint (sha256) of your contact is used, not the contact, and it expires on its own.
They are kept in the Emporium store, a table on AWS in the us-east-1 region, together with the quote. They are read by the service, to notify the business and show it your request on the link page, and by the operator of Emporium, Ultravioleta DAO LLC. They are not sold or shared with anyone else.
The data of your request expires 90 days after the last change to the quote. Once expired, the Emporium purge command removes it and the quote stays without it, marked as removed. Today the operator of Emporium runs that command by hand: the data can stay stored from the moment it expires until the command runs.
